That said, he did draw a good crowd and his past presentations were very good. To give him the benefit of the doubt, he probably just had an off day! If possible, let's see if he would like to give a presentation. I had a look at the Meetup website and note that the affair is for two days. I'm sure he could compress that but in 1.5-2 hrs I think he would have to "focus" on a particular topic, because most people now are fairly familiar with the generics of smart phones. Personally, I like his presentations and I have one of his books, but his last presentation, if I remember correctly, was a bit bland, with insufficient detail. Let's hear from Barbara, Marcelino, Russ, etc, etc! I DK what apps Harold uses, although the detailed description on his ND page for the workshop refers to Apps in the plural that he'll talk about. It does not seem to limit the workshop to any version of the iPhone. My daughter has a6 and took fantastic shots in Napal last summer. Our Tablet/Smart Phone SIG is full of iPhone users, many of whom seem to have a six. Anyhow, noticing that five people in my Quicken SIG have switched to Mac versions and computer, I'm beginning to think we can seriously consider Apple oriented presentations. Date: Tue, 20 Dec 2016 12:29:47 -0800 Gael Pierce, who did an iPhone GM , has offered to do a Snapseed presentation to our GGCS digital camera SIG in the classroom. She gets remarkable results....with the 7plus. This is why I wonder about Harold bcos older iPones, like my 5S, are FAR less competent camera-wise.
