Thank you so much for responding to our inquiry. Here’s a quick overview of
what we are looking to do for our clients. I appreciate any assistance you
can provide in our search for a speaker/instructor.



We are a financial services firm who help baby boomers plan for and
transition into retirement. Most of our clients are retired and we’d like
to provide “value added” services. One event that we are hoping to put
together for our clients is a technology 101 workshop. It would include,
but not limited, to the topics listed below. The workshop would include a
presentation and a follow Q&A session. We’d like to have someone who is
comfortable speaking to an audience, patient, and has a lot of knowledge
related to the topics below. The timeframe we’ve set to have this event
held would be in a month, in April.



•             Online security:  what to do to protect against scams and
phishing, unsecure vs. secure internet access points, avoiding malware/virus

•             Keeping online access to financial accounts secure, and
conducting a demo of our Client View to include electronic statements and
secure communication

•             Social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter): privacy, navigation,
and engagement

•             Entertainment/Media:  Downloading and subscribing to podcasts

•             Utilizing and organizing digital devices:  iPhones, iPads,
Galaxy, eReaders

•             Online resources:  checking credit scores and history,
creating a MySocialSecurity account, and banking bill pay

•             Becoming familiar with smart fitness devices:  fitbit,
Garmin, etc…

•             Social interaction:  Skype, Facetime, Facebook video calling
