I'm all for that...and I've been suggesting it for several years! And if people don't want to cook or fix something, there's plenty available at places like Trader Joe/ Whole Foods, Nugget, etc to pick up. And organizing isn't that big a deal either, You just set up a few categories...Appetizers, main dishes, salads, desserts, and people choose. If you ge too much in any one, just ask people to choose another. We've had an ogoing Fourth of July large group pot luck for over 30 years, an it gets better every year.
