Hi Chris...Please forgive the long gap in communications. Four days without electricity can create chaos in one's Inbox, and I totally lost track of Marcelino's reply to my message saying you could handle our January General Meeting. I've cc'd him and Barbara Hansen, so if you could reply to "All", we'll all receive your message. Give us some ideas of what you're covering lately, from which the Presentations Committee can select some topics. As I mentioned last month, there is some interest in the use by seniors of computerized features of new cars. Is there anything about that in your forums or workshops? Maybe Smart Home and Auto issues for Seniors? As always, anything you cover is dune so well, we'd love it. Let us know what you'd suggest for January. Fond regards, Babette

Babette,Thanks for setting this up. I have not been keeping up with what they are teaching and don't think the rest of the group have either. Can you ask them for a list of the subjects that they currently have on their agenda? We can then pick from a few of the items that would be most suitable for our members.Does that make sense? Thanks,Marcelino From: B. Bloch <bcbloch at juno.com>

Subject: gulds can do January GM They can do January. I think you guys need to discuss with them what topics you'd like. I did ask about tech gadgets on auto's, but she didn't seem to pick up on it...maybe didn't really notice it. I'll communicate with them, but need guidance from you about topics.
Feel free to message them directly if you wish...just let me know how you want to handle it. Babette

So sorry - yes, I received it. Just been busy.Of course we'd be happy to do a remote seminar for you guys! I look at the calendar and either Jan 20 or Feb 23 could work. I see that Jan 20 is a monday, but Feb 23 appears to be a Sunday - maybe you meant Feb 24? Anyway - let's pick Jan 20. Any idea what topic you want? Blessed be the flexible for they shall not get bent out of shape.Chris Guld Watch our Weekly Online Show on Learning Smartphones and Tablets!"What Does This Button Do?"

Hi Chris....it's been a while, and GGCS would love to have you back for another Webinar in January or February if you're free for either month.. We'd far rather have you here in person, but I know this isn't the time of year you're on the road Westward! Our meetings are, as ever, on the fourth Monday of the month, which would be January 20h or February 23rd. Let me know if you can do either moth. We'd prefer to book the January date if it meets with your schedule, since that gives us the extra time to fill the next date. We're open to suggestions of what you'd like to present as a topic. Have you done anything on new auto technology for Seniors? We've had a lot of interest in all the computerized features in cars these days, and how best to learn to use them or when to turn them off if they are distracting us from keeping eyes on the road. Looking forward to hearing from you and hoping you can be with us, even if by remote! Cheers, Babette
