This is another Consumer Reports upcoming presentation on line, similar to an earlier one on how to get your name off the Internet. I have sent the coordinator a message asking about their prior request to contact groups that might want to utilize these presentations. It might be a possibility for our General Meetings. Meanwhile, we can share this announcement with our members and/or the whole Email list. However in the reply to my RSVP they gave a separate link to sign on for non members of Consumers Reports. They said: And you can invite others to join you at the event with this link:

     Babette,
A lot of Americans have never viewed their own credit reports, even though it’s completely free. What you don’t know about your report could put you at financial risk. That’s why we’re hosting an important three-part webinar series with valuable information.
Our Consumer Reports financial experts will share the latest details on how to check your report, common report errors to watch out for, and how mistakes or errors could hurt your credit score. We’ll talk about how COVID impacts credit reporting and how reporting systems negatively impact communities of color.
Don’t miss out on this important series! Adding your name to our RSVP list for these webinars will automatically get you a link to join the events. Even if you can’t make the live time slot, signing up will get you access to a free recording.
