Russ,
Sorry about the confusion, my fault.
Please keep Harvey for March.
We had problems with the connection on Monday and we had to reschedule but I wasn't thinking well and said we would move to March. I will contact him and reschedule; I think he is flexible.
Sorry,
Marcelino

Hi Babette, in case you didn't know, our February speaker was postponed to March due to a glitch with Zoom outside the US, so don't book Consumer Reports until April.

I contacted Consumer Reports regarding their recent workshop on how to get your name off the Internet, and below is my original message to them, and their reply.
Do we want them to make a presentation by Zoom at a General Meeting or do we want to run a recording of the workshop.l
Frankly, I think a presentation would be better. The workshop was good, but the presenters went fast and I'm not sure we could have Qand A with just the recording.
I'd appreciate some direction from the group on this, and even having Marcelino or someone asking them any questions you have.
Meanwhile, I will ask if we can look at the recording.

Hey Babette,
Thanks for joining us at our recent event and reaching out with such a lovely offer. I would be happy to discuss more with you. GGSC looks like a fun and informative group!
Are you looking for someone to present the workshop to your group or are you interested in showcasing the recording of the event with your group? This will help clarify what we are able to offer and the right resources to organize.

I attended your recent presentation on Your Name on the Internet, and have lost the follow up message that provided a link to the recording made of this presentation.
In addition mention was made in correspondence about these presentations, that CR would be interested in contacting groups that would like to participate in them.

We would be most interested in having CR present such a program for our monthly General Meeting in the near future. It is held via Zoom at present, on the fourth monday of each month at 7 p.m., Pacific Time.
We have an Internet and More SIG, and the leader of that group might like to show the recording of the meeting on removing names from the Net, if that is OK with you.
I'd appreciate it if you could put me in touch with the appropriate person with whom I could discuss this.
Many thanks,
"Babette Bloch
