     Babette,
A virtual private network (VPN) is an essential tool for keeping yourself secure and keeping your data private online. VPNs send your web traffic through an encrypted tunnel, making it harder for hackers to access your data.
This week, Consumer Reports is hosting a free virtual workshop to explain why you need a VPN, and how to choose the best VPN for you. We’d love for you to join us! The online event features Professor Roya Ensafi, from University of Michigan and VPNalyzer, to give you all the info you need to know.
Please RSVP for this important session at 3 p.m. ET, Thursday, and learn more about your security and privacy online.
Virtual Workshop: Exploring VPNs
Thursday, March 18
3pm - 4pm ET
RSVP now »Most security experts agree there are times when it’s important to use a VPN while online. But some VPNs are better than others. For instance, certain VPNs sell your private information to make a profit! Sorting through your options can be a tough task, even if you’re a savvy internet user. We’ll discuss this in more detail on the webinar.
Make sure to RSVP now for our virtual workshop. Even if you can’t make it, please RSVP so we can send you a recording of the event to watch when you have time.
Help us reach as many people as possible — invite friends and family who may be interested! Everyone who RSVPs will receive the Zoom link to join live, and a recording of the workshop.
Looking forward to seeing you Thursday,
Alan Smith
